I saw the idea for the Christmas Quiz on Meagan's Blog and thought it would be a fun thing to do on my blog.
1. Eggnog or hot chocolate?
Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. I've never had Eggnog.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
Santa always wrapped the presents.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
We would go cut down our tree every year as a kid. So my mom would switch between colored and white every year. I like both but white is my favorite. This year I bought a fake pre-lit tree with my boyfriend. I wanted white but the tree in white that I like was sold out. So we bought a tree we liked with colored lights.
We don't have lights on our house.
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No.
5. When do you put your decorations up?
Some time after Thanksgiving.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
My mom's homemade candy and ham and mashed potatoes.
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Probably going to my grandma's cabin in the mountains every year when I was little. Or getting that one toy I always wanted.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
Oh I still believe of course :-)

We would get to open one gift on Christmas Eve when I was little. Usually Christmas pjs to wear.

first lights (unless it is pre-lighted), then ornaments.
11. Snow! Love it or dread it?
Love it, but sadly it hardly ever snows here. I have to go to the mountains to see snow.
12. Can you ice skate?
I've only ice skated once in my life. But I only fell twice so I think I did pretty good.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
When I was a kid probably some Barbie toy. More recently probably my camera.
14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you?
Being with family. Celebrating the birth of Jesus. As a kid looking for Santa.
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
My mom's homemade candy and cookies: Bon Bons, almond roca, candy walnuts, gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies.
My grandma's green Christmas tree cookies (which she did not make this year very upsetting lol.)
Pumpkin pie.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Holiday parities with family and friends.
Reading Twas' The Night Before Christmas every Christmas Eve. Listening to Christmas music as I fall asleep on Christmas Eve. Baking with my mom and decorating the house with my family (and now my boyfriend.)
Driving around town with my family and looking at Christmas lights (we call them pretty pretty pretty.)
Many many more.
17. What tops your tree?
As a kid we had a glass teddy bear in pjs until it broke (I believe.), Then we got a star, and then one year my mom used her grandpa's old vintage glass tree topper.
And this year we are usually my boyfriend's grandma's family old vintage glass tree topper. It is a lot like the old one my mom has.
18. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving?
Really I love both.
19. Candy canes: yuck or yum?
Yum, but I never finish them.
