I am not a very big wine drinker. I've just never gotten into it or tried that much. Also whenever I try and buy a wine I always do a bad job picking one.
Then a couple of weeks ago I heard about Cupcake wine on Twitter. The girl who mentioned it was drinking a red wine called Red Velvet. I thought that sounded interesting and I love Red Velvet Cupcakes. Then like a week ago maybe I saw Molly from Stilettos and Diapers do a post about wine on a budget. She too mentioned Cupcake red wine Red Velvet and said it was a bit chocolaty. Well I love chocolate so it made me want to try that wine even more.
So ever since I saw her post I decided to find this wine. First I looked at their website. They sell their wine from their website but do not have a where to buy me section. So then I just decided to look at my local grocery stores whenever I went shopping.
Well today we had to head out to buy flour for tonight's dinner that we forgot to buy last night and I found the wine at my local Walgreens. It was on sale for $9.99 so I decided to buy it. We took it home and opened it right away. I really liked it but my boyfriend Anthony did not. I thought it was pretty good and could taste a hint of a chocolaty favor.
Now I just need to actually buy wine glasses lol. All we have are decorative Martini glasses. Well I do have one red wine glass but it is also decorative with feathers on it so I don't think I can wash it.
I think it would be a perfect wine for Valentine's Day ❤ !
