What I did on my 25th Birthday

Yesterday was my 25th Birthday so I figured I would make a what I did post.

I woke up early in the morning around 3:00 am having to go to the bathroom. My boyfriend just happened to be up also so I smiled and said it's my birthday. I then went back sleep after using the bathroom lol.

I think woke up three hours later to get ready to go out to breakfast for my birthday. I woke up early because it takes me awhile to get ready. We then left for breakfast around 9:00 am. I had a Belgian waffle grand slam because I always eat waffles on my birthday and I love waffles. And Tony had the French Toast grand slam.

After breakfast we went home and I got to open my presents from my boyfriend. He got me some great stuff. How I Met Your Mother season 6 on DVD, The Lion King on Blu-Ray, Fox and the Hound on Blu-Ray, Dumbo on Blu-Ray, and a gift card to our movie theater. 

After opening presents we watched tv and just relaxed for awhile. Then for lunch I had birthday cake and blew out my candles.

 

 After we had cake for lunch (it was my birthday so it's okay lol) we just hanged out at home and watched TV. I Also worked on my Twilight Link Up post from yesterday :-). We weren't doing anything else until the evening.

Around 4:30 pm I started getting ready to go out to dinner with my boyfriend, parents, two brothers, and my grandma. We were going to my favorite restaurant Logan's Roadhouse. We were suppose to meet my parents at 6:30 pm. We left early so we headed to Big Lots to look at Christmas Trees. We ended up buying a 7ft. one that was priced okay and looked some what real. We then headed over to the restaurant which was right across the street. I had my favorite drink a strawberry daiquiri and the chicken fried steak for dinner. I then opened my present's gifts and my grandma's gift.

 

 

My grandma just gave me a check like every year and my mom got me: A princess wine glass, a gift card to TJ Maxx (best place to find designer stuff cheaper), and a gift card to get my nails done. They had also previously paid for me to get my hair highlighted and got me some clothes. 

They then sang Happy Birthday to me and I blew the candles out on cute strawberry cupcakes that my mom had made. After dinner Tony took me to get Starbucks and then we headed home. I had a pretty good birthday but now I am a tad sad that it is over lol.

Now I am going to answer the questions. :

1. Are you going to see Breaking Dawn at the Midnight release?:

No- I am not going to the Midnight release. I did for New Moon and never will again probably. I just get too tired waiting for Midnight to come. I like my sleep so I will be going to the early bird showing Sunday morning at 11:45 am and i bought my tickets weeks ago. 

2. Scene you're most looking forward to in Breaking Dawn?:

That would probably be the wedding and the honeymoon scenes. I can not wait :-).

3. Team Edward or Jacob?: 

I am Team Edward all the way baby. I have always been Team Edward since day one. I love love love him lol. I do think Jacob is hot especially in New Moon but I am a Edward fan for life.

4. Favorite book in the Saga?

I think my favorite book in the Saga is Breaking Dawn. Because from day one I was waiting for Bella to marry Edward and become a Vampire herself.

5. Favorite character in the series and why?

My favorite character is probably Bella because she is the main character and really the books are about her. I also love Edward.

6. Why do you love Twilight?

I love Twilight because it is a great love story. Also it is very addictive. I read all the books in a couple of days and I think I read Breaking Dawn in a couple of hours.

 
7. Are the books or movies better?

I always think that books are better then the movies. But I do think they do a good job of sticking to the storyline and staying true to the books in the movies.

 
10. Do you have a Twilight collection?

Yes- I own all of the books and all of the movies on Blu-Ray. I would like to get New Moon on Blu-Ray the Target edition still because that was the only one with deleted scenes on it.

I also own shirts from New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn Part 1 and a Team Edward bracelet from Eclipse.

I decided not to answer number 8 and 9 because I don't really dislike anything about the series and I do not have a crazy fan moment.

Halloween weekend 2011

I hope everyone had a good Halloween. My Halloween night was very nice and quit. The boyfriend and myself stayed home like we usually do and watched movies/TV shows while giving out candy. We ended up running out of candy around 7:24 pm and shut our door and turned off the lights. It was perfect timing because we had planned on closing the door at 8 pm anyways to watch How I Met Your Mother. Then I made my adult treat strawberry daiquiris. Here is my recap of Halloween weekend 2011 in pictures. Warning it isn't that exciting.

 --I am going to start with our decorations. We didn't have a lot but we did have some cute stuff.

 There are our Halloween decorations which are already now put away :-).

--Friday night we carved our pumpkins. I carved a Hello Kitty face and Tony carved a kind of vampire face. After we carved them we lite them up and took a lot of pictures.

  

Sadly by Saturday the face at my pumpkin had already fallen into itself by Hello Kitty's ears. Mainly because of the heat and because I accidentally carved part of her bow wrong. But at least I got all of these pretty pictures before that happened.

 On Saturday and Sunday we didn't really do anything other then go grocery shopping and hang around our house.

On Monday we had a day of watching movies since we both work from home right now. We watched Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and then took a break from movies. We then watched the end of Twilight on FX later in the night while eating dinner. For dinner we had pigs in blankets and chips and dip. We watched TV and gave out candy to trick or treaters. We also had Halloween cupcakes that were really cute. We ran out of candy at 7:24 pm and then we watched How I Met Your Mother at 8:00 pm. And I made my strawberry daiquiri yum. Which I already stated at the beginning of the post.

So there is my Halloween weekend recap with pictures. I told you it wasn't that exciting lol. But it is was what I like doing. Staying at home with the boyfriend and my kittys.
